Traffic building at Ringmania

Ringmania 2000 Traffic Building.
Ringmania 2000

The photo above is a screenshot of the first Ringmania website. At the time we were trading from a market stall selling a range of fashion jewellery and hair accessories. This version of the website was built in order to sell body piercing jewellery. You can read more of our history at the main website.

As this is a new blog, my immediate task is to acquire as much traffic as possible. Read below to find out more.

New traffic

My initial goal for the month of August is to clock up 1000 new and unique hits at ringmania.com
Not a huge figure, I know but I expect it to double it on a monthly basis.

Plans for 2018

By the end of this year, I expect to see over 15000 visitors/month.
Please help by sharing this post and having a look at the new improved website.
If you could leave a comment on one of the posts here or at the main site, that would be a great help.

Ringmania in the future

I have many years experience behind me and I hope that one day, my son will be able to take over the business and continue with my efforts.

In the meantime, my struggle goes on. In the early days of the internet, it was relatively easy to be successful due to lack of competition. Nowadays, things are much different and it seems that everybody want’s a piece of the action.

As you might have read at our website, Ringmania was once a top supplier of fashion jewellery. Due to other commitments, I failed to keep up with new technology and consequently, the website and Ringmania itself almost faded into non-existence.

I have made several attempts to try and revive the business but unfortunately all failed.

Now I have more time to concentrate on what is basically a new venture. I recently became a fan of WordPress after building a few sites for customers and have completely transformed ringmania.com from an out of date website to one that is up to the latest standard.

Affiliate marketing

I have well and truly got back into the world of jewellery and hope to feature some of the worlds best products and suppliers via affiliate marketing. As I live in a very remote area, I am unable to make regular trips to the post office in order to send out customer’s orders. All the products that you see at the Ringmania website are supplied by independent companies. This means that when you order a ring from Ringmania, you are directed to the retailers website who will fulfill your order. For this I receive a small commission. This does not mean that you pay any extra for your order. In fact, the price that you pay is the same as it would be if you purchased directly from the supplier.

It’s an ideal situation for me as I no longer have to buy products to sell or keep any stock. In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your order, you can contact the supplier directly who will quickly sort it out for you.

More information

If you need any further information, please refer to Ringmania or you can contact me directly via the website. I will always be happy to help in any way that I can.

I have been selling fashion accessories since the mid 1970s and began trading as Ringmania way back in 1995.
Since then I have created and managed several websites which I hope to feature at this blog. I relocated to Thailand in 2004 and returned to the UK in June 2019.
Currently based in Sheffield.
