Online Casino and Cheap Viagra links

Recently, I have been swamped on this blog with a load of comments written by spammers mostly using Russian email addresses. Many of these at first appear to be genuine comments from readers asking random questions about the design and/or hosting of the site.
However on closer inspection, each comment contains at least one link to a questionable website.
For this reason, all comments remain unpublished until they are approved by myself.

I’m not a great fan of censorship but to be quite honest, if you think you can use my sites to promote this crap, you are really in the wrong place. So long as I am here to edit this blog, you will not see one link relating to online casinos or offers for cheap medical products.

A quick Google search of any of the text included in some of these posts will reveal hundreds of similar posts on various websites. Don’t try it here, I’m one ahead of you. Here’s one of the latest:

Currently I am deleting several comments on a daily basis and have now disallowed any html links to be entered in comments.
Hopefully, this will stop the majority of random idiots who wish to abuse the facility. The rest will be approved personally by myself and published only if the item is appropriate to this blog or to Ringmania.

The Beach

Finally, you may be wondering why I published a photo of a beach at the top of this post. It is a photo of Mai Khao Beach in Phuket, Thailand. I have lived there for 14 years and it is as equally inappropriate as the subject concerned.
